About
"Decipher" is a black metal band formed in Athens, Greece in 2017. Their debut EP, Of Fire and Brimstone, was released in 2019, marking the beginning of an active live presence throughout Greece and abroad.
Since then, the band has performed at festivals and shared the stage with notable acts such as Arcturus, Wolves in the Throne Room, Misþyrming, and others, including an appearance at Chania Rock Festival.
In late 2019, Decipher entered the studio to record their debut full-length album, Arcane Paths to Resurrection, which was released on April 21, 2023 through Transcending Obscurity Records.
In support of the album, the band embarked on the “Worshippers of the Void” mini tour in May 2023 alongside Shadowmass, performing in Bulgaria and Northern Greece.
The band continued to expand its live presence with the self-organized “Death Worship” Tour in May 2024, followed by the “Black Curse” European tour in September 2025, significantly broadening the territories they have performed in, including multiple Balkan and Central European countries as well as Germany.
Decipher are now preparing to release their second full-length record, "ΘΕΛΗΜΑ", scheduled for March 20 via Transcending Obscurity Records.
The band remains highly active, continuously booking live shows while further refining and intensifying their uncompromising black metal vision.Decipher are:
